The horizontal tubing of the Smart-Rail slides between the boxspring and the mattress.

bulletSupport Frame - Rigid tubular steel construction. Baked enamel finish for durability. Unlike particle board based designs, it will not soak in moisture or emit odors. Works on either side of bed. (32x24" / 800x600mm overall dimensions)

The Smart- Rail is 16" wide by 30" high and can be adjusted for greater height in the closed position, allowing for more protection while in bed.  When the latch is released to swing out the Smart-Rail, the rail legs will reposition themselves to the floor for maximum support.  Supports up to 250lbs.
