I know when you read this, that you will feel like "There he goes again,
sounding like all the other sales pitches on all the other websites...", but I
sincerely believe that the S-Cape base is the finest made, best crafted
adjustable bed base in production today. Not just because I sleep on one
each night (I do), not because it was cheap to buy (it wasn't, although it is
not that much more than other models), but because when you are "in the
trenches" doing warranty work on products, you KNOW what is built to last and
what isn't...
The "Wallhugger" feature, even though it has a lot of "moving parts" in the
framework, works flawlessly; The electronics are made by OKIN, a West German
manufacturer (we also do service work and sell parts for lift chairs; most of
the lift chair manufacturers have gone to Okin motors because of their
reliability). If there is any noise anywhere in the house,
you honestly cannot hear the lift motor run. I can't think of
a feature that any of the other manufacturers have (except a clock built into
the hand control) that the S-Cape doesn't have; preset and programmable settings
on the solid state hand control, encased and insulated vib motors, power reserve
to get the bed down in case of a power failure.
As I mentioned before, the S-Cape isn't cheap - most quality things aren't.
But think about it this way - you probably spend a few minutes to an hour or
more a day in your car (the one with the electric windows, door locks,
and air conditioning); shouldn't you have the features you want in your bed
- where you spend one-third of your life?

Before you begin, be sure your bed is plugged into a
working outlet. |

STEP 1: Press the Learn Button on the Power Down
Box for one second and release. |

STEP 2: Press and hold the POS 1
and the HEAD MASSAGE ON/OFF buttons. The transmission light will
flash slowly and then flash rapidly. Continue to hold for 5 seconds and
then release the buttons. |

Your remote should now be programmed to operate your
bed. |

| To program your favorite position and massage: |
| 1. |
Take the bed to your desired setting. |

Hold the set position button for 5 seconds. |

Press the "P" button for 5 seconds. |
